When I was a kid I wanted to be a P.E. teacher when I grew up.  I could think of no greater way that I wanted to spend my life than in Gym class all day!  After High School, I enrolled in college as a P.E. Major and was on my way to a lifetime of dodgeball and capture the flag! Funny thing happened, a year later I found myself on the mission field and my future would be forever changed! After spending an extended season overseas as a missionary, I returned to the US where I met my wife and became involved in our local church.  Within just a few months, our home church made plans to plant a new church in a neighboring community about 45 minutes away and I was asked to be a ministry leader on that launch team.  Little did I know it at the time but that began my education in Church Planting and was the beginning of over 20 years of “Roll up the Sleaves” “Hands On” leadership experience with 7 church plants! Though I never set out to be a church planter, at present I have the privilege of leading and pastoring Legacy Church…another new church plant in Tucson, Arizona.

This Page will contain random thoughts, short stories, brief devotionals, ministry announcements, and brief looks into the life of a church planter.  My hope is that these entries will be edifying, uplifting, and if nothing else - amusing!
